Salisbury, NC-
As a nice birthday surprise, Dr. Ada M. Fisher, 12th US
Congressional District Republican Candidate was notified by ALIPAC
(Americans for Legal Immigration PAC) of their decision to endorse her
campaign for Congress because her stance on illegal immigration. A very
compassionate physician whose efforts led to the establishment of Plain
View Health Services in Greenevers, NC (Duplin County) which now serves
a largely migrant population, Dr. Fisher remains adamant that we cannot
allow people in this country illegally and continue to turn away
Haitians fighting for their lives. She also believes that people who
are in this country illegally who break the law should be deported
barring some extremely unusual circumstances. “Citizenship must have
value and all must play by the established rules which should be
enforced,” per the candidate. “Part of the problem of our unwillingness
to enforce the rules is because of exploiting the labor of those
desperate for economic opportunities. That is not right.”
In another favorable turn of events, The NRA Publication for November
released its ratings of candidates with Fisher receiving an A- while the
12th District incumbent Melvin Watt got an F. As a staunch
constitutionalist, Fisher has always supported the right of citizens to
bear arms per the 2nd Amendment to the constitution.
Doing her part to participate in
the community, Dr. Fisher had two cars entered in the NC A&T State
University Homecoming parade held today in Greensboro, NC. Announcer,
“Buster Brown” of 97.1 WMAQ, gave a shout out to the candidate and told
the crowd, “Dr. Ada Fisher, I know you. I’ll vote for you.” In her
element among people, Fisher had drivers and friends who worked the
crowd in “Get a Doctor in the House” T-shirts. Communications Director
Mercedes Harrington drove the candidate’s car, Mr. C. C. Fisher, the
Assistant Wrestling Coach at UNCG and nephew of the candidate drove a
vehicle lent to the campaign by Mr. Don Clement of Salisbury Motors and
Mr. Adrian Jackson, a graduate of Livingstone College and coordinator
for Greensboro campaign activities where he lives, were with the main
parade crew. The Masons and Eastern Star (of which Fisher is a member)
got the word. Dr. Fisher got out several times during the parade to
pass out materials herself and shake hands with the crowd. |
