| Since its inception and by design, the North Carolina 12th Congressional District has been a democratic stronghold and a seat to try to
ensure black representation. The data to many suggests that no Republican can carry it; however for the first time, the 12th District has a Republican running like no other. Dr. Ada M. Fisher a Republican candidate for this seat has a unique story, not just because she is a Republican of 30 years and black but because she has been out front standing up to injustices within and outside of the political process, an outspoken advocate for equal rights and individual responsibility and is a common sense advocate for the people of this state who has her finger on the pulse of the state. |
Dr. Fisher feels three things will decide success-the message, the messenger and the methods.
- The message is jobs, affordable healthcare within the free enterprise system and national defense with homeland security including improved veteran's services and immigration reform imbedded in the 12th district's areas of strengths-banking, health care, education and sports.
- The messenger is Ada M. Fisher, who is a physician not politician as usual, is willing to walk it and work it to serve the people.
- The medium/method is to get people to look at the incumbent's poor voting record on things which impact their lives and our nation (no on eliminating the Marriage Tax, no against the Defense of Marriage Act, no on tougher sentences for child sex offenders who commit their acts of federal property, no on Medical Malpractice Tort Reform, no on a Patient's Bill of Rights, no on legislation aimed at controlling our borders, no on the fundamental thinking of the 2nd Amendment, etc.), tell her story, and convince people to not vote according to party but for the better candidate who is willing to stand against special interest which don't put North Carolina and people first.
